Hello from the SW side of Chicago

Hello, I'm "scooterbob" and I have an 08 Swing wih ABS. This is my second Silverwing. The first was a 03 with ABS. My first Swing had about 11,000 miles or so that I put on it before it met it's fate (garage fire). I have a little over 4,000 on my 08.

The longest trip I have taken was to the Iron Range in MN. It was a 1,600 mile round trip the first time, and an 1,800 mile round trip the second time. I have gone camping with the scooter a couple times and make many day long rides when the weather is ok.

My modifications are few to the silverwing. Hand guards (wind,rain protection), an alarm system, added a power outlet to the glovebox, C.B. ant. mount to the rear wing, extra brake light license plate holder, and a chrome rail on the front fender. Other added items are tunnel bag, sheepskin seat pad, extended backrest,and mirror extenders.

Thanks for joining and welcome. I hope you enjoy this forum and I know you from the Maxi-scoots site. I remember you losing your '03 to the fire you had. I hope you are active here too since we all get along here well. Are you going to the Iron rally in Mn again with WBP? Again, welcome.
