| Battery dead. No wonder. Five? years old and to weak.( 8.5 AH) Must be... 11 AH. I bought a Yuasa YTZ12S.
When running, the battery recieves : 14.7 V. 14.45 V with lights on. 14.25 V with high beam.
Seems high values to me.
Please, can some one who owns a workshop manual ,look if this within the specifications.
Thanks. |

| Hi Eddy,
With the head light on while running normaly, just low beam (No brake lights on, No turn signals on, No horn) at 40MPH I get 14.4 VDC, at the battery, on my digital voltage meter.
That's a stock Honda Battery 1 1/2 years old and 8,000 miles on the scooter. |

| Did a measure of the oil temperature in the engine carter.
( in the hole of the dipstick, after a easy tour of 30 minutes)
207 gr F. ( 97 Celsius)
Question:What is the normal live time of the clutch-shoes? |

| Hi eddy, This sounds to often to me, but if you look in your owners manual it states to inspect and clean the clutch shoes, every 4,000 miles. Man...that's not going to work for me. The next time I get in there will be to change the belt out at 16,000 and then I will take a look at the clutch. |
