| Just back from the first run out with the YSS Emulators installed in the front forks. I am quite pleased with the improvements to both the damping and smoothing out effects over the Derbyshire pothole collection. Next run will be 2 up to see lf the improvements apply with a pillion on board. Coupled with the recently fitted YSS Ecoline rear shocks, the ride is becoming more comfortable. |

| The 2 up run with the YSS emulators installed was a great improvement. . Hoping for a run around Yorkshire in a few weeks. That will be ultimate test for me. |

| Hi Stuart,
Did you increase the rear YSS pre-loads for the 2 up ride.
Be safe, be seen! |

| I never heard of YSS emulators but if they work like Race Tech they make a great improvement in the SW fork. Improved fork then rear shocks seem to be the next issue they are soft.
What type and weight fork oil did you use? |

| At this stage, I am using the shocks as supplied until I have tried it fully loaded. I can then start adjustment from there. Re fork oil, I have used 20 wt Putoline. To allow for the added bulk of the emulator, I increased the air gap by 10mm. So far, so good. |

| I rode my YSS shocks out of the box and they seemed OK for solo riding. As a guess, I took a 3cm measurement from fixed points to tighten them up for pillion riding. That too seems to work OK too.
For pillion plus baggage I would probably take them down another 0.5cm. |
