| I am seeing drive belt prices anywhere from $50 (cheap Chinese junk) up to $350 (OEM).
I would like to find an OEM belt at a reasonable price.
I'm in Alberta, Canada.
Any suggestions?
Also, I read on European sites a different drive belt part number for the Silverwing. MBLSC039 (Europe) vs 23100-MCT-003 (North America).
Anyone have any knowledge about this? |

| Hi africa1228 from the UK
The drive belt for a Swing in this country is the same part code as the rest of the world 23100-MCT-003. And the only belt Honda used in the 600 regardless of year or sub marking
Not sure why it threw up MBLSC039 other than the belt size 28.0 x 1262. Although the belt itself is an old style with the reinforcing on the top of the belt rather than part way down the belt like the Swings.
Personally I use https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/224360534114fits=UKM_CCM%3A600%7CUKM_Make%3AHonda%7CUKM_Model%3AFJS&epid=6042760086&hash=item343cee1062:g:zuAAAOSwr2FjEfuk&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAA8DAJZBF9WqVUY3p7BhBdhRfhyDN5IPH8CVsuRRjOG%2Bd30zEAUS1D%2Bwg3xHVxLhO5hG97aid3ShZfrGAAgkZkkhSxg%2F7wwcXlM4WhcpjP%2F%2BUiEN5kAdlPQqYZsuumpy0%2FFRLBLga84Wkl3hcaYgT9TthYWP0hWWIhNhFw4s4kEw%2BV4GxHfdAelyp9UeoTqmkeQNI8pI%2FQCJviGTKCc%2BUM%2BMCUzXuDWgvPZWV8F4hwAvrGiB8fQIJb3ibQKBJIBi6FcoQYl4VDrORp0Cz7Ndc2Bw77TuH2UCWHCW42Y123HP0jdXuho0rPn6HrH7h5OyFAgw%3D%3D%7Ctkp%3ABFBM6r_r8JZi
And yes it gets a good canning
But any good kevlar belt will do.
Hope this helps. Be safe, be seen! |

| Personally I stay with OEM belts. Too many horror stories floating around about cheaper units. Do a search on here and see!

This is where I get mine. Used to be a bit over 100 USD but like everything they have gone up! Good luck. |

| Found an OEM (Mitsoboshi) on eBay for $110. Took a couple weeks to get here but saved me some cash. Put in the 28g Dr. Pulley sliders. Can feel the difference. Unfortunately the bike is in better shape than I am. I've put her up for sale and bought a Yamaha S-Max. |

| Clarification ...
The Honda packaged SW600 OEM belt, P/N 23100-MCT-003. This belt is made/supplied by Mitsuboshi, is the only one Honda sells and it fits all years. $140
The P/N MBLSC039 is for a Mitsuboshi branded belt, marketed/sold to fit the SW600, all years. $160
Both belts usually have the same Mitsuboshi markings for obvious reasons, the Mitsuboshi usually is more expensive than Honda.
The Malossi belt P/N M6115803. IME/IMO is just as good if not better, than OEM/Mitsuboshi and are significantly cheaper $100
I would not hesitate to purchase any of these belts, BTW prices are just for comparison and reflect USD "discount" retailer's prices.
Check to see if you have a Malossi retail place in Canada ? BTW, not a fan of "who knows where they came from Ebay belts !! |
