Auxiliary Fuse box Empty
PostSubject: Auxiliary Fuse box   Auxiliary Fuse box I_icon_minitimeWed Apr 26, 2023 11:59 am

With all the added accessories that people add to their bikes, it amazes me that manufacturers don't leave some fuse locations free for adding accessories.

However, i am not a fan of these "add a fuse" contraptions that attach to existing fuse outlets and in the past have added an additional fuse box to my bikes on occasion.

I am wondering if anyone has done the same for a Swing? And if so, where did they mount the auxiliary?

If not, when I do, I will post where I put it and how I wired it all up. I would make it so that it only powers on when the bike is switched on.

africa1228, I bought an auxiliary fuse block for the electrical accessories I'll be adding soon. I plan to install it in the under seat area where the OEM toolkit and Owner's Manual are currently strapped in. I will drill holes in the sides of that "storage dish" to run the wires to where I need them. I'm also installing a separate ground block and haven't decided where to put it. It'll likely be close to the starter and/pr where the main ground to frame is. I can't say for sure because I haven't physically removed the tupperware in that area to see for myself.
