Newbie here

Hello all. Happy to find this site. I am 66 years old, sort of retired and currently in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

I've lived in 8 countries so far, visited more than 100, and was born in Africa.
I have owned motorcycles most of my life, and just bought a 2006 Silverwing (16000km or 10000 miles) that has a leaky fork seal on the left (surprised how much shops want to fix it!)

Nice to meet all of you and I have learnt a lot about this bike from this site already.

Hello africa1228. Welcome. If you've already done any searching here on front fork seals then you'll know it's not a big a deal as you might think. Lots of tips and tricks to get the job done; that is if you intend to DIY your bike. Either way, glad to have you on board.
