This issue has plagued me since ownership of the swing in 2018, while on the side stand the wear in the  bracket is sooo much that its at the tipping point and i wonder if there is a good fixout there that would give me peace of mind when using the side stand.

Its great that the swing is so well engineered that i even have this issue and i guess its the bracket that has worn on the inside so maybe some spacer washers would do the trick, but adive gratefully received.

Here’s a pix of the side and center stand. Sadly there is no pivot bushing shown at the side stand. So best to check the bolt on your side stand as well as the frame lug for tge side stand for wear.

There is/are bushings shown for the center stand pivots (#5). Perhaps they could be adapted to fit if need be.

Also you might check with our man Siataukreg to see what he has on hand which could help.

I don't think I've had a bike with which I had faith in the side stand. They always look inadequate to me.

Wear and tear on the frame lug always seems to be the culprit and I don't know why Honda didn't put a bush in the SW side stand. I use the centre stand 99% of the time....maybe that's why my centre stand 'clangs' when it retracts? thumbs up
