30 A main fuse Empty
PostSubject: 30 A main fuse   30 A main fuse I_icon_minitimeSun Jan 02, 2022 11:03 am

Good day everyone and my it be a very happy new year for all.
Yesterday on my way to work, I had just gotten on the HI way when I felt a split-second loss of power and then things were normal until two min. later the same thing happened. About 5 min later, I was almost at work when I came to a stop sign, and it completely died and had to have my love towed to my house because I am sure that our local shop is booked up for months. I checked the main fuse and it had popped. I replace it with the spare and it also popped. After just replacing the starter switch with an OEM
because I had (no headlights) for a short period of time, I would have to turn off the scooter using the kill switch. Ater three- or four-times things were normal. That does not sound normal to me.
This morning I am going to remove the connectors to the starter switch and see what happens.
Is it possible the main relay has a direct short and if so, where is it located? I have the shop manual but ity does not indicate where it is.

SWAG from here but seeing it was intermittent at first I would look for a wire that was worn through. Have you found the problem?

No have not checked any further. Was busy sanding and prepping finder and fairing, for painting in the morning.
I'm not a master electronic man so I'm putting it off for now. Haha

chickendance yea! i FIXED THE PROBLEM. I had driven off to work with my spotlights only hanging from the brackets and one of the wires shortered out.
Now the whole fairing and finder are painted and Im very happy with the results.
