Expensive house is sold/Kymco is sold

Expensive/overpriced house is sold/cash---Kymco XTown 300I is sold---83 next birthday.  Hurray.  Moving to Eau Claire WI---next bike?   Probably has to be new Honda----lots of dealers.  Only one more big ride in thoughts, return to Hyder AK and thru Canadian Rockies in summer.

Next bike?? after 11 new Maxi scooter and over 400,000 miles with them I am tired of buying drive belts and taking plastic off just to keep going.  Maybe Super Cub 125---easy to ride/2022 model--have to see if US model comes with sidestand,too---US seems to be no outlet for the various accessories available, but plenty can be found in Japan or Thailand----I like front basket.  Rear rack, that mounts after standard rack (for rubber bag)  standard rack takes dog's box, either givi E-46 or smaller box I have, bolted on. In the hump Givi hump bag secured by velcro (Industrial kind)   2022 new 4 valve engine, proven bottom end from Japan C-110.----What I do not like---key fob/electric seat latch/same for tool pouch---idiot crap--- The trail bike would work for me, too--but I do not want open chain or up pipe that would burn throw over saddle bags/gas tank is bigger!ST keeps old engine.

PCX 160 scooter, maybe offers more for money and of course is faster.But drive belts and time taking valve adjustments.

 Cub has nice drum rear brake!! Straight forward rear wheel removal, new drive chain $11---OEM should last me 30,000 plus miles---oil is cheap.

Time will tell.   Not planning on croaking.

We’ll look forward to hearing about your new Cub and, at 125cc, the route you plan to go to Hyder on it. As many times as you’ve gone there you ought to be on a first name basis with those border protection folks. How many of them could there be, 4 or 5? Any more than that and there’d be more C&BP folks than the population of Hyder itself.

Only thing I left out---Super Cub needs giant freight rear carrier----new c-90 I bought on Okinawa had one---great for safe hauling from garbage to groceries. Maybe the carrier from ST would work work
