You have my deepest sympathy Crying or Very sad  It looks as if the good weather in the UK is about to end, hopefully for just a short time as I enjoy biking in the autumn.

There would be a lot more time for riding if it weren't for working to support bad habits... eating... sleeping indoors...

You really have to get the priorities straightened out. In my years living in Alaska indoor jobs ALWAYS waited until winter. Good weather is too precious to waste.

It's no big deal though is it, it was warm enough in York yesterday to cycle round in T shirt and shorts. Today it's raining steadily, I was going to have a walk round the grounds of Fountains Abbey near Ripon with Mrs M after lunch today as our National Trust Membership expires at the end of the year, but you appreciate the splendour of Abbey more on a fine day.

So I've been out and spread lawn feed so it gets watered in, sat on and adjusted the seat height a bit on my new push bike and now there's bread to bake, a Granary with Marmite and Cheddar, or maybe Cider and Apple. When it's proving I'll sort out stuff for ironing and maybe do some.

As long as I get a ride in to Skipton Pie and Mash sometime this month, or over to Hebden Bridge, or even somewhere Brubaker picks then I'm happy enough.
