Check out my new to me 2009 Silverwing 400! In was in dire need of some new brakepads, a new front tire and i changed the oil. Otherwise it seems to be in pretty good nick.

I put in around 300 kilometers in the past few days. And I must say getting around a metropolitan area on a maxi scooter is really great! Absolutely liking the comfort, gearing and seating position. My only comparison are sports bikes though, and that was some years ago already. The only downside I’ve noticed so for is the front end. It seems really soft and undersprung. Is that to be expected? Also I can imagine there something to be done to get the gearing revved up u bit quicker. But messing with the rollers and clutch is for later. Any tips? Must do adjustments? Anyhow, first I’ll get to know the bike as is and enjoy the ride around town.
