| New tire from Metzler ROADTEC. Made in Silver Wing sizes and proper speed, load rating. A new tread pattern. FYI Ride On. |

| Here's a short 2016 review from Revzilla that features an earlier iteration of these road tires. From what is said, it sounds like this tire has been around for a while but has evolved over the years.
Note the rear tire tread pattern has changed since this 2016 video review. Metzler has "connected the tread dots" from the previous version ... likely for better water evacuation performance. I like the design of the tread and am curious as to how they may perform on our SWings.

| How about on the edges, especially rear? |

| I try to wear out the edges before the centre tread if I can!
Seriously though, the SW leans over quite well so I've no hesitation in leaning it over on switchback roads etc. Sadly, the centre always gives up first. Seems like such a waste of tyre. |

| Yeah the ROADTEC tires have been out for awhile but not in Scooter sizes. Replaces the Feel Free tire standard on Burgman 400 OEM. Currently using a set of Feel Free and they work great on SW not enough miles to see how they last front is a little noisy in turns but both grip well. |

| I really like the Michelin Power Pure SC Scooter Tire. I tried the Michelin city grip the last time out and decided I like the SC better. Tire is a deal for $65 bucks. $140 installed. I ordered a new rear tire last thurs. and the shop is putting it on friday. - MICHELIN 2CT Technology Provides Outstanding Grip Rubber that is hard in the middle for withstanding sudden acceleration and braking, and soft on the edges for maximizing lean angles. It is the first scooter tire to integrate 2CT technology, originally developed in competition and for the sportiest motorcycles on the market. wrote:
