New to Silverwing

Hello, I have just bought a used 2006 Silverwing and found this group. I am looking forward to reading and learning all about my scooter and the joys and benefits of my 2nd ever scooter. I used to enjoy a 1985 Honda Elite 250. I will be seeking sources for some add on or other modifications but for now I will enjoy the sunny days of S.W. Florida.

Welcome aboard! Be sure to check out the "pictorial" section. Most maintenance jobs are here and done with pictures. Makes basic maintenance so much easier.

Welcome to the BEST SWing forum in the Solar System. As was said before the Search box is your friend. Hopefully it came with maintenance records so that you know what's been done and when. I'd ride it at least for this summer to see how you like it just the way it is before delving too far into mods etc. I have an 08 SWing that's pretty much the way I bought it except for putting a Motor Trike kit on it about 3 years ago and just recently a new GIVI top box. Other than that just normal stuff like oil, filter, belt and tires. It does everything I want it to do and goes where I want to go. But hey, to each his own. Keep us posted and how you like it.
