Hi guys this is a possible issue on older scoots that i came across recently i bought a 2001 none running scoot to break it when i hooked it up to a good battery it did run but there was no dash lights or anything light wise working on dismantling the scoot the problem was solved, in the feed from the battery there is a second wire that has a inline connector all looked ok till i pulled it apart it was fully corroded up and fell in bits so if you have a similar issue ie: dead dash and no lights might be worth a look at this terminal
