Hello, I am Stuart Foreman from Northern New Jersey, and just purchased a 2003 Silverwing that is in need of love and attention. I did not pay much for it, and it has only 9800 miles on the clock. Body work is scuffed up, so I intend to purchase the replacement panels. Looking forward to receiving tips from the group here and I have already learned a great deal from the forum pages. I will try to focus my questions on the appropriate pages.

Thanks a bunch for providing this area to get real information.

Hello. Welcome.
North Jersey has some good roads I've ridden a few up that way. I bit of traffic in summer but still okay. High Point has a good view and three states come together at Port Jervis NY. One can be in three states in 5 minutes. NJ NY and PA.

Hawks Nest on 97 is a nice ride. Last time is was up there almost in a head on with poor driver on my side of road Close one.

Welcome aboard. My brother lives up in Highland Lakes not too far from the NY border. Some really interesting roads in that neck of the woods, definitely can test your riding skills.

Replacing all the tupperware on that bike is probably cost prohibitive. If you don't have that much into it and want it to look different, you could consider spraying it either with plasti dip or paint it. Plasti dip is pretty DIY and would give it a unique look.

It's always great to see a younger member on the forum, you wouldn't believe how many geezers there are here. Being a younger fellow myself I try not to notice it too much.
