PostSubject: 2003 non ABS front shock adjustment   Shock adjustment question I_icon_minitimeFri Jul 05, 2019 8:00 pm

Hello everyone. Freddyblue from San Francisco back for more advice on how to fix or adjust my front shock. A small pothole bottoms the front out completely in a bone jarring fashion that cannot be as good as it gets. I know nothing about this scooter and I ask forgiveness for asking. Does the manual explain adjustment, or could I need a new shock set. Thanks everyone.

There are no adjustments for the fork. Rear shocks have a collar at the bottom for spring height Preload
Sounds like fork oil is worn or leaked out.

Use the search here type in Fork. upper left above topics much good info to be read.

Thanks for the reply. Again, excuse my ignorance. Can this be fixed with new fork oil and seals and is it an expensive repair at the scooter shop? Thanks.
Sincerely, Freddyblue

I'm sure it can be fixed. Depends if you have tools and feel safe doing the work.

Best to have a shop do the work many tools needed for a proper repair. Price I don't know? Parts not that much but labor could be??
