New owner in Leeds UK

Hi, I'm Jim and I live in Leeds, West Yorkshire. I bought a 2011 Black Silver Wing on Wednesday from an interesting 84 year old chap who has downsized to a Vespa in North Somerset and yesterday I rode it back to Leeds (it was the hottest day ever recorded in the UK and yes I roasted). It was quite an introduction to a maxi scooter, my last bike was a BMW F800ST and before that a Harley Dynaglide.

The bike reminded me of my Harley, ponderous, feet forward and vibey :D It needs a service, it has only done 12500 miles but not been serviced since 2015. It is standard except heated grips and the only mods I am planning are a Givi Vario Screen as the standard screen shook my head to pieces and a look at the seat hump.

If anyone Up North is interested I would be happy to meet, ride and chat.

Gotta love the maxi scoots!
I also had the usual problem of forgetting there's no clutch, but the difference in comfort and luggage capacity is what sold it for me!

Vario Screen ordered today, just need to look at the back rest. Typically, it has rained so hard here the last few days i'm thinking about building an Ark
