Was just looking on Honda Powersports USA----at Forza...to see if they have lowered price a lot for the leftovers. No such luck other than $500 discount to dealers.

Then looked to see if leftover 2013 SilverWings are still shown. No, I guess they got rid of what were still in their warehouses---means, want a new one (leftover)? there are surely some left on dealer floors....but dealers have been paying floor plan fees, so probably no big discounts here....unless dealer want to take big hit, just to get rid of the bike.

Would you really buy a leftover Forza when there's a lighter and new much improved 2019 model just starting to hit the showrooms over here. I rode over to my nearest Honda dealer in West Yorkshire on Friday just to look at one.

It's much nicer looking than it's predecessor and about 28 lbs lighter than the old Forza 300 (and 140 lbs lighter than a Silver Wing too), which makes it very easy to lift onto it's main stand and move about. A couple of points that are often forgotten but become more important as we get older.

It's the first Honda scooter to be fitted with traction control, has full LED lights, an adjustable electric screen, much improved combined analogue and digital instrument display. Plus great underseat storage, keyless ignition, hazard lights, a power socket in the left glovebox pocket which is lockable. The mirrors are on the bodywork, fold in, and have the LED indicators built in.

The only minus points are it's not available in the US yet, the seat height is an inch higher than a Silver Wing, and as yet Givi haven't developed a rear rack for it.

There is a rear rack and colour matched 45 litre Honda box available for the new Forza that works with Forza key fob. But would you buy one just to cut a large hole in the lid for your dogs head.

Anyway by the time you need to change bikes again, the new 2019 Forza 300 could or should be in US Honda dealerships.

Buying leftover Forza for me...it would have to be really cheap. As for Forza 2019 model in US---I doubt it as scooter market here right now is more than dead.

Hmmm. If you guys on the eastern Atlantic side would buy a bunch of those new Forzas, maybe Honda would be motivated to test them in the US market. But as in the past, Honda would probably first try them out in Canada for a few years.

UK Honda has 8 scooter models listed US only 4 that says a lot about scooter sales here.
New Forza looks nice and has improvements.

Markets are different but at least we can hope. Stiff competition from Yamaha in 300 class too.
