Im attempting to do a coolant change, can anyone post a pic of the drainbolt location? I believe im in the general area, near the radiator hoses on the left bottom of the bike.
Any help would be greatly appriciated!!

From our Search on this board. Smile

Remove right inner pocket and radiator cap.
Bike should be on the side stand during the draining.
Remove the drain bolt (on water pump - left side of engine forward of the drive belt case).
Remove reserve tank cap and drain reserve tank.
Reinstall drain bolt with new sealing washer.
Place scoot on center stand - level ground and all that.
Fill the reserve tank to the upper level line.
Fill the system with recommended coolant up to the filler neck.
Bleed air from the system by doing the following:
Start engine and let it idle for 2 - 3 minutes.
Crack open the throttle 3 to 4 times.
Stop the engine and add coolant to the system to the proper level.
Reinstall radiator cap.
Check the coolant level in the reserve tank and add if necessary.

Thanks Old wing guy, I appreciate your help!
Although I remember seeing a picture of the drain bolt before, but cannot find it now!
Also, someone showed me a little trick, after it looks like all the old coolant has drained, you can take a piece of hose, get a good seal on the radiator neck, then blow into the end of the hose. I have got almost another quart out before.

Here you go bud, picture taken from WSM, drain is the lowest bolt on the pump housing (the other item with a hose in the picture is the oil filter/cooler) ...

I thought that there was an arrow on the water pump cover pointing to the drain bolt, but I may be wrong. Good luck!
