Longest lasting tire?

I try riding at least once a week. Mostly on back country flat roads, as I'm in the central Florida area.
Was hoping to get advice where to get tires for the best price online, also looking for something that I can get the most miles out of.
From previous expirence , I believe the sticky tires don't have that long of a tread life,

Bridgestone Hoops seem to have a long-mileage reputation.

Any chance you can plug & pump your existing tire so that you can ride it to the dealer? They're going to relieve you of a heft portion of this month's pension just to R & R that rear tire. Now if you also have to pay them to rescue your ride, that'll only add to the misery.
