Additional Moderator

As many of you know moderating a forum can be a time-consuming business.
Mostly here there's not much to do but all posts need to be read and it can be a bit of a burden.

In addition it makes sense to have more than just a couple of mods firstly so that it doesn't fall to one person to make important decisions and secondly a larger group of mods can moderate the mods.

At Jeff's instigation and with Dan's agreement ColinB has been appointed.
He has great experience in both administering and moderating forums.

I am a co-moderator with him elsewhere and am quite certain that his experience and sound judgement will be of great benefit to us all.

Before we had the report system in place, Colin had PM'd me to report a post, that I didn't see anything particularly wrong with.  
 
The reason is that I am an American, and didn't get that it appeared differently to a different cultural perspective. He might as well have been an Indian trying to explain the sacred cow while I was having lunch at Burger King.
 
It showed me quite clearly how important it is to have moderators from different backgrounds, that can cover each other.  Colin's background is well established and a fine addition to our board.

Which brings me to my next question. Anyone here from honda_silver? Is he Ok? I hope so. And is he still the owner of this site when JeffR stepped back? Thanks Jeff for your continued service. Dan and Mike too. Your all doing a great job.
