Hello from Maine

I am new to this forum and presently am lining up for 2014 SWing. At the moment I own an ST1300 and a CBR250R. The 250 I use for around town and during the winter when the roads are clear up here in Maine. The ST I use for touring and Iron Butt rides. I am doing a Saddlesore 3000 in a few days and then putting up the ST for the winter. Next year I will attempt a 48 states in less than 10 days, a Four Corners Tour and a Coast to Coast in less than 50 hours and then the ST will go up for sale. It will be replaced by a SWing. I will be applying for the 2015 Iron Butt Rally riding a SWing. I have a couple of questions: Has anyone attempted an Iron Butt Rally on a SWing and what is the recommended mileage for replacing the drive belt. I look forward to following the forum.

Welcome Rog. The reccomended belt change is 16K miles. I know we have one member, Hammy, who is also a member of IBA.
