| Hello I am the proud rider of my 2010 silverwing . I purchased my scoot after shattering my hand , not being able to use a clutch anymore . I am not sorry for my purchase. I have rode the tail of the dragon Tenn 2x , rode Flordia, Ohio, Erie and planning Canada. Never sore when riding except looking for cruise control and extended foot pegs. I have put my scoot away for winter and from the purchase March 2011 picking up in May ...........put away in early November I have managed to put OVER 5,000 miles . thank you and are there any women riders in eastern Pa area? |

| Scooter mama, I think the phrase "you go girl" applies to you. As for the cruise control, I installed a Go Cruise throttle lock. I went to the search function and entered cruise control and found a plethora (Opalsboy's favorite word) of information on different systems. Some even had pictures! Really, it's a question of how much you want to spend and what your needs are. For me, riding mostly flat terrain, the throttle lock is OK. If i were riding a lot of hills, I would probably want a real cruise control; not a throttle lock. The good thing about this forum is you can find a lot of information in the search area and then decide for yourself. |

| Plethora of welcome Scooter Mama... (I need to give credit to BibBird for introducing me to the city word "plethora"... it does have a country flavor to it now that I have been using it at the local coffee shop).
Great to have you with us. Enjoy reading posts from the group in the warmer climates that do get to ride year round. We all learn a lot here. |
