PostSubject: newbie in Huntley ,IL   Mon Apr 20, 2009 8:32 am

Bought a used 2005 S'wing with 1500mi one month ago to replace the B 400 which I sold 2mos ago,and the Burgman replaced my 2000 Goldwing. The Wing was simply too heavy to lift after a lean over.
I've observed this site in previous months as a visitor and enjoyed the topics and relaxed banter between members as well as the info and experiential advice and modes of operation; so I registered last week>

I've been riding for 50 yrs and was a certified to teach the motorcycle course (never did) 2yrs ago.

Bob,

Welcome, I hope you enjoy the site. Happy to read your kind words about this site. I find that I spend far more time at this site than any other. The folks here really do not seem to be here to puff them selves up. I think I'd enjoy a ride with most all of the folks here

Hi Bob,

We're neighbors, I live in Crystal Lake. I'm guessing you might live in Sun City. I have a friend who lives there. He used to have a Goldwing and last year bought a Burgman Trike. Maybe we can all meet up this summer and go out for a ride.

Hi Bob,

Thanks for posting and hope you enjoy the site. I used to live in Antioch when I was younger. That is a nice area up there where you live and hope you post some pics of rides you do and your bike too. Welcome.
