Hello All,

Just bought an 05 Swing that I just hauled up on an truck to UC Berkeley from San Diego to use for school. Made it all 500 miles just fine but when I went to back it down on a metal ramp from the carrier, it bottom out and severed a coolant hose draining pretty much all the coolant. It cut where a small hose meets a larger hose right next to the oil filter. I've been trying to see which hoses these are on parts schematics but can't quite sort it out, any help?

Kinda curious how bottoming out would cause the hose to sever. Post a good pic of the area and the gurus here may be of assistance.

It was bottomed out on the corner of the ramp and a lot of the scooter's weight was on this hose. My buddy proceeded to keep yanking the scooter to get it free but it ended up severing the hose. I can't take a picture because it's at my buddy's but I drew an arrow in the attached image where it cut....

Little hose, big hose, or tee fitting?

None are super expensive. Big hose is the most expensive at $30 or so. Others are less than $10.

The hose that wraps around the oil filter is going from the tee to the oil cooler. The big hose is the lower radiator hose.

From what I remember, the little hose that wrapped around the oil filter and was connected to the larger hose. That junction is where it severed.

I had a small cut on top of that hose that would only leak under pressure. Atrip to the local auto parts store for a short piece of hose and the problem was fixed.
