http://www.lidl.co.uk/cps/rde/xchg//lidl_uk/hs.xsl/offerdate.htm?offerdate=24030&ar2=1&id=1282&country=GB&zipcode=Balham&city=London&district=SW17+7BA&street=Balham+High+Road&ar=1&nf=False

On a different note, wouldn't it be better to call this the 'UK and Europe' section? since 'England' is virtiually the equivalent of a state in the US.

I'm inclined to agree. Smile

Ah yes, but when said zone inevitably fails (think Greece, France, Italy et al), will we have to change it to the 'Former Euro Zone'?

Could always refer to it as 'Heathland' after Former PM Ted Heath who got us in the mire in the first place!!!! clown

They sell groceries, yes, but also general goods.
There are always special offers, as with the m/c gear, and often have good deals on food, toiletries and so on.

Not sure if this is original but why don't we call it 'Europe' or would that be against EU H&S laws nowadays. Laughing

Cheers,

Just purchased the flip helmet for my wife and the boots for myself, both are exceptional quality for the price. The helmet even has the built in flip down sun shade and it doesn't feel or look flimsy and cheap. The boots are buffalo leather and surprisingly soft and flexible,I'm sure they will do the job in an accident, but they are easy enough to walk in flexing at the ankle... something some bike boots don't do well.

I must confess I would never have thought of buying bike gear in Lidl.... until I bought some of their thermal bike gear a couple of years ago and found it was exceptionally good value and did the job well.

So IMHO Lidl is worth a look if you're on a budget but still want good gear..... and no I don't work for them or have shares:-)
