Hello all,
Thought I would say hello on this section, even although it says England Razz Just got my first swing delivered last Saturday. I am loooving it! Had a read through some of the posts in here before I purchased it, and I have to say I agree, it is a brilliant machine! No doubt I will be asking all the newbie questions of the day in the up and coming weeks, but I may just be too busy playing on my new toy bounce

Welcome GG from a fellow Brit, albeit English!!!

As for the England section it was more a generic term for we Brits as the Forum origonates in the States, (started by JeffR,) and the fact so many of us 'English' realised early on that as far as the Honda Silver Wing is concerned this is the best site dedicated to a specific machine bar non.

Loadds of useful info around the various sections. If your into moding your machine, Dennis's shop is a great place to start. If Dennis hasn't got what you want I would be supprised.

Enjoy the site and do dive in and get yourself involved, the more the merrier.

Just for info, although English I did spend 8 years in Killmarnock, working out of Prestwick airport, many a weekend spent up Glasgow (shopping) Embarassed otherwise enjoying the roads, way better than down south.

Hello from North West England.

I've done a bit of riding in Scotland but suffice it to say "Not Enough". My favourite place of all though up there has to be the Isle of Skye.

You have found the best place on the web for the Silverwing, a lot of friendly and knowledgeable people on here - just make sure you have an English-American dictionary to hand as some of them talk funny. Laughing

Cheers,

It may have been George Bernard Shaw who said that, but then many think Churchill did, or Oscar Wilde did. Both men were, however, "quote magnets". This is a bit interesting:
