PostSubject: Do it your self Airflow shield.   Sun Jun 05, 2011 5:53 am

Hello,

I am 6' and my windshield is stock.

A lot of noise ... wind, around my helmet, even when driving 45 mph.

A friend give me a shield of some mc in a good condition.
I wanna make a DIY Givi Airflow like shield with it,leaving the stock shield of coarse.

Need help from owners of a Givi AF shield.

1 - What are the dimensions of the top part? W,H
2 - How much space between top part and basic shield?
3 - How much is the measurement from ground to top edge of top part, for a 6' driver?

Thank You.

Eddy.

The Givi Airflow has some curve to the upper shield...i.e., it isn't straight like a normal windshield might be.

You might also want to look at the design of the Laminar Lip.

Above all that is copyright infringement. I realize that a lot of us don't much care if we infringe on another's copyright, GIVI might. IMHO.
