In commemoration of Memorial Day, I decided to thank vets for my freedom by doing a motorcycle run today. Incidentally, when I had breakfast at the local McD's this morning on the way out, I saw two older gents, one with a baseball cap saying that he was retired Army and the other with a baseball cap carrying the inscription "B-17G". I thanked them both for their service. When there's a clue that an senior person has served in WWII or Korea, it is worth thanking them, because we're losing many older vets at an incredible rate right now...and they're always surprised when their service is recognized. That's what makes it worth doing...

Anyway, ran from Sacramento through Fiddletown to Hwy 88 and up to Bear River Reservoir, then back through the Sierra foothills to Placerville and back home today. Some photos attached.
