PostSubject: Gold Wing vs Swing   Wed Apr 22, 2009 6:05 am

I'll give you my verdict after my first long ride. I'm 5'9" and cut two inches off the top of the windshield, but cut is straight across instead of following the factory curve. I then made a small radius at the ends. I'll let you know how it is tomorrow when the weather is supposed to clear up. I took a piece of paper, about 1/8 inch by 4" and marked it every 1/2 inch. I then scotch taped it to the top of the windshield and was able to determine then how much to cut off. You have to find the right height by riding the bike, it can't be done when you are sitting on it in the garage.
