I hope those are Liberian dollars or they're obviously high.
I can't find another supplier for the Mitsuboshi kevlar belt to save my life. Scootertrap says they're "no longer available", and Google is no help. This link shows the only "Silverwing 600" kevlar belt I can find, and they're vastly more expensive than Scootertrap.
Any other sources out there? |

| I thought all belts had Kevlar in them - the aftermarket ones are advertised as 'Kevlar belts' in order to sell them. From experience - the Piaggio belts last much longer than the am ones and show signs of wear, unlike the am ones which usually fail with little or no warning. |

| I just sent Gates an email with pictures and dimensions, to see if they have a belt that would work on the Silverwing
Gates is the largest maker of motorcycle drive belts in the world.
I'll let you know what information I get back back. |

I'll let you know what information I get back back. Given my past experience with Gates I'd throw away a brand new OEM belt for a halfway worn out Gates. They're that good. |

| Hello,
can someone quantify the advantages of different belt types? |

| I have always understood that the manufacturers' own belts are the best. Other makers' belts are sold as 'Kevlar' belts - all contain Kevlar! |
