had the mallossi clutch fitted now for a few days.on originally fitting it i thought id brought the wrong one,as when the bike was at just idle the back wheel was spinning.i also couldnt spin the back wheel by hand as i could before.so i ran her for around 50 miles now its nicely beded in ,i can now spin the wheel by hand so happy.it engages around 2700 lightly but needs 3300 to lock up and then doesnt slip there on after.very impressed with the way it responds to the throttle, and quicker than stock to but properly not to every ones tastes.as you need higher revs to pull away.all the best

Isn't that the point of an aftermarket clutch --to have it engage at the optimum rpm range?

Does the Malossi clutch come with an assortment of springs which will allow you to tune the clutch so that it engages at which ever rpm you may choose?

The Dr Pulley HiT clutch I'm currently using has several spring options which can be changed and/or combined so that the clutch engages at a chosen rpm as well as lock up at the rpm I choose.

mallossi do sell the springs i think they are about £21.00 they are yellow red white im using white springs with the mallossi multivar 2000 variator and 24g rollers.its hard to get a hit clutch over here and i think it was around £300 alot of hard earned cash that one.thats all im going to do to her ive standard exhaust and air filter.the wife dosent like it on the back with a loud pipe Sad still im more than happy with whats been achieved ride safe
