PostSubject: J Costa dealer   Tue May 10, 2011 12:37 pm

Now that Scootertrap is planning to close its doors, does anyone know of another dealer who may have J Costa replacement pins? If not I could try using sliders on the OEM variator if I can find a dealer. Thanks everyone.

You may have to get the parts from overseas. Here's several distributors:

He may have to suck it up, pay the extra freight, and be done with it. Otherwise, it seems the only other alternatives are to dump the J. Costa and go to another variator available in the US, or back to the stock variator with some Dr. Pulley sliders (which isn't such a bad thing).

I have been playing with Jcosta alternatives, but may go back at some point. I am in need of a set of pins if I ever want to go back. Maybe someone here could do a multiple set of pin purchase to help offset shipping costs overseas. I'd be willing to chip in.
