I am considering buying a new 2011 silverwing so i've been researching but i cant find the dealer cost. best advertised price i've found is 7860 (not a bad discount from the 9099 msrp) this dealer has no fees just sales tax and state registration cost. anyone have some thoughts

I've heard of new '09's going for $6.5k out the door, new '10's for just under $7k, so I'd expect around 7.5k for an '11. That will drop as the new year and winter approaches.

Dealer cost means little, as the distributor (American Honda) constantly fiddles with rebates and dealer incentives.

The advertised price also may mean little, especially if a dealer wants to clear stock. This time of year is considered end of season. It costs nothing to go in and haggle and make an offer.

This page should give you a good idea. 2011 models vary from $7,699 to $9,099 from just what I glanced at.

I was told yesterday, Southern Honda, Chattanooga, $7800 for 2011. That is their price to customer.

I bought one bike there, so they stick to price quoted.

In June I bought a new 2009 Swing (non-ABS) from a dealer for $6,499.00 plus tax and stuff. I think the dealer said that Honda paid some sort of dealer incentive (maybe $500.00). Another dealer has a new 2011 with ABS listed at $9,099.00, but I don't know if they actually have one in stock.... maybe?

I hsave NOT been in this forum in a long while. But anyway There is a
dealer selling a 09 for $5.799 then you have to add tax and other stuff
that is in Dallas craigslist last week. As for me buying a NEW 11 swing not going to happen they want to much $$$$$$$. I will stick with the
used ones with LOW mileage.

As it turns out Thebreen hew is my brother in law and I bought knew 2011 Honda silver wings for $8,439.54 out the door at SOUTHERN HONDA ORLANDO FLORIDA Saturday 09/25/2011 compared to prices we got from other dealers this is a great price plus they gave us a dollar per mile for driving to Orlando from Melbourne in store credit 89 miles

Sure and just so you know I have a 2002 silverwing in mint condition with 7255 miles on it I didn't want to try to trade so if you have friends looking I'm trying to get around $ 3500 ish for it show room condition Looking at the 2002 and 2011 in my garage you cant tell them apart
