| Hello to all. I'm a new scooter rider, having only ridden motorcycles in the past. (AND it's been 25 years since I sold my last bike...) Hoping to get some good use out of this Siver Wing & good MPG as well... Mine is a 2003 & seems to have been pretty well taken care of, to this point. We'll see how it goes! I'm sure I'll be back with questions about accessories & repairs etc! Joe |

| Welcome aboard, Joe! I picked up an '03 as well, just a few weeks ago. Struggling to get above 45mpg at this point, but I've still got a couple of maintenance items to take care of, and it's been exceedingly windy around here lately. I would imagine you've been putting up with it as well.

| Yeah, hoping for 50mpg, but I assumed that would be a stretch. It has been really windy around here too. We're not that far apart... |

| Hi and welcome Joe.
The MPG is like most combustion engines. Dependent on the state of the engine and subject to our riding style!!
I am riding mine quite hard at the moment as the weather here in the UK is great, dry roads, little wind and I am only getting 45 mpg based upon an imperial gallon. When ridden conservatively, traffic and weather! I see a return of 50+ again based upon imperial gallons!!
Enjoy the 'Wing' it is a good machine and I am sure it will go just fine. |

Ha Ha, I seem to have that problem too! I got 47.6 on my first tank, so I'm not too disappointed in that, but still hoping for better!

| Welcome! My mileage varies widely and seems to be dependant on nearly anything. My commute is only 2 miles one way, colder weather made mileage suffer and my right wrist. I've been doing two wheels for 50 odd years and the Swing still beats anything I've ever owned for all around fun and giggles. |

| If I do the speed limit on the highways or interstates I can get 50 mpg but that is not giving it much throttle to merge on the interstates or trying pass. The SWing can do good if you stay off the throttle. It seems once you start to want to have fun it will go down to the low 40's. When I ride with a mix of good and bad driving I will get 45-47 mpg. _________________ Ride safe, JeffR 2007 Silver Wing (30,000 miles) 2005 Majesty 400 (sold 12,500 miles) 2004 Reflex (sold 3,500 miles) Givi Windshield, top case, vista cruise, power commander, dr pulley sliders, air hawk seat pad, (J.
