PostSubject: Greetings from West Sussex, UK.   Mon Feb 21, 2011 2:32 am

Hello Everyone,

I brought my new baby last weekend, she's silver, almost 10 years old, has only 13,000 miles on the clock, and appears to be as new with no mods, apart from 4 holes in the tail piece, which i'm assuming the previous owner used for mounting a top box. (i'll be picking your brains about that later).
I've been for a couple of rides, and am still smiling, just can't wait for the weather to improve so I can go out again.
For the past 7 years I have been riding a Fazer 600, and although i love it, i'm really glad I brought the wing, and can see me riding her more than the Fazer.
Kind Regards, Dee.

I'll be picking your brains about that later.

That shouldn't take long! Razz

Hello and welcome, Dee.
Sounds as if you've bought a nice bike.

This link should give you a clue about the holes - there are pictures in the Albums showing topboxes on Silverwings. The Givi plate should fit on your rack:

Don't do snow Paul!!! Well! not extended periods anyway. A day or two - max.

This mornings ride was awful! (Dark/night ride). That terrible drizzle that sticks to your visor and won't budge. Vis was bad and as soon as you cleared the visor it was covered again. Bordering on dangerous!!! Evil or Very Mad

At least with snow vision is normally very good.
