I just joined this group -- have participated in the other group a long time.
I'm in the northern California greater Bay Area, and I'm on my third SilverWing.
Only modification on my current one so far is GPS and removal of seat buttrest, and topcase.
I've ridden through a number of states and done some of the Iron Butt Association rides on my previous SilverWing. My goal for the next riding season is to complete the IBA National Park Tour -- visiting 50 national parks or other sites administered by the NPS, within a year, in 25 different states/provinces.
I'm looking forward to participating in, and learning from, the group!

Thanks for joining and we have chatted before on the yahoo group a bit. I'm sure you can give a lot of hints and tips on the Silver Wing. I like your avatar too of your trip to Alaska.

If you get time maybe you can go to the "Album" section and create your own folder and post some of your pics. I'm sure we would all enjoy them.

Jeff, I can't figure out how to add photos. I went to personal album but when I clicked "add photo" it said my photos (none selected) were too large.

Please go in and try again. I just looked into it and found that we have so many pics and attachments on this site now that I had to go in and buy some more credits for additional storage. So this site went from 120 MB to 210 MB of storage. Sorry for the inconvenience. I just uploaded one of our dog and all worked well.

I thought that *I* had uploaded so many pictures I was beyond my limit (which meant that zero was too many!), or that somehow I had clicked the wrong link (very likely!).

Welcome (from Vancouver Island, BC) to the forum - looking forward to seeing your posts.

I've done the same mods as you plus a Givi Airflow windshield, grip puppies, mirror extensions and Airhawk seat pad.

All worked very well on a 5,000km round trip from my home to Fort Collins, Colo. in September and I have no plans to do any further upgrades or changes.
