PostSubject: Introduction   Mon Nov 15, 2010 10:35 pm

Just wanted to introduce myself. I bought a used 2009 SWing seven weeks ago. I've put almost 1600 miles on it so far. Having a blast and great weather. Not looking forward to winter. I took an MSF course this past summer. Learned a lot of good safety tips but couldn't get a good feel for the clutch and gear shifter. I took a scooter class and got my license in August. Found my SWing on Scooterfinds.com. I took the MSF course to be a better passenger when I rode with my husband. He been riding for 15 years. I wanted a maxi scooter so I could ride and keep up with my husband Bob, he rides a BMW R1150R. He found this forum and I been following it for couple of weeks. I'm learning a lot. Great Forum.

Catch you later, Cathy

Hello Cathy.
My partner rides an R1150RT - I can keep up with him on my Silverwing if he behaves! Laughing

Welcome to the forum - enjoy the ride.

The SilverWing can keep up (within reason) with most everything on the road today. If y'all come to Huntsville, AL for The Great BMW Chicken Rally ( http://www.bmwmoal.org/index.php ) over Memorial Day weekend let us know.

Welcome! I am a relative newcomer here, myself. Am loving my Swing and ride it daily, thanks to good gloves and insulated coveralls. Mornings here have been mid to high twenties.
