Although I didn't go all the way to Benton just the little bit of road I did traveled was good enough, the pavement is in excellent condition and the scenery is not 2bad. You know on the way to Lee Vining I saw the exit for the town of Bodie but I remember reading that it's about 5-7 miles from the freeway
and most of the road is dirt, too bad.
