| Hello to one and all from Plum Pa, just east of Pittsburgh.
Myself, wife and our partner all ride, I’ve been riding for 40 some years. Carol, my wife has been a passenger for many years and decided to go it on her own a few years ago. Tracey our partner started to ride when she moved in with us in 2007.
Carol rides a 03 Reflex, Tracey rides a 07 Burgman 400 and I have owned various bikes from a Z50 K0 Honda to my latest, a 04 GL1800A
I found riding the maxi scoots enjoyable, maybe a bit more fun than the half ton GL’s we have owned. I started to get the itch for a maxi in the fall of 07 when Tracey and I rode in the New Holland Scooter Rally - N.C.D.B.B. (now the Mid Atlantic Scooter Rally)
This week I’ll be the new owner of an 06 Silverwing and just as excited as I was when I bought the Mini Trail for $301.00 in 1968 (Man that was a lot of grass cutting and miles of paper route walking)
I would like to tell you all how well put together this forum is and how much knowledge I have learned in the few weeks that I’ve been lurking. Hopefully I can add to or at least throw my two cents in now and again.

Welcome to the forum and glad you like it so far. You should check out all the Pictorials to help you out with maintenance. Give us a report on how you like it when you get time. And also put some pictures in the Album where you can create our own file for pics. Again Welcome. |
