Replace your snow with our ice, fortunately the roads were warm enough that most melted quickly. Some power outages and I-70 closed for a while while power lines were cleared away.

Ice is not fun. Trees come down and nobody can move.
This forecast was all over the place 1-3 2-4 5-8 inches looks like the later.

A few years ago we had late October snow trees still had leaves that was a mess. Bad as ice snapped a lot of trees and melted the next day but damage was done.

The Bay of Fundy area is getting its first dusting tomorrow. But I have seen snow here in October and it stayed till April the following year. All par for the course around this neck of the woods, but it always takes people by the short hairs and drags them into winter.
Stay warm, think of all the days you passed on riding this past season, and all the coming days you'll wish you had riding weather !!!

Happy PMS.

Jay.

Well the ice mostly melted, but it's being replaced very rapidly by a wet snow but that's o-HI-o and it could be back to the 50's and 60's F by the weekend.

Snowstorm Avery, 11.15.18
Harrisburg, PA: 8.3 inches.
Central PA: about 10 inches.
Surprised and gridlocked drivers.

Erie, PA, and Buffalo, NY, look at the above and say, "So what?"

I remember well my time on the I-90 snowidor at least up there they have a clue on how to handle it, even the county and townships did a good job keeping roads open. 100 miles round trip every day to work makes one appreciate the efforts.

I got 7.5 this time Came hard and heavy-wet snow. Roads were icy.
78 was a mess trucks stuck on hills.

Penndot short on plow drivers this year. It keeps getting worse every year with the traffic and poor drivers. If you don't have snow tires or tires with at least 6/32 shouldn't try to drive in snow.
