I actually forgot what they were called, but the flooring where the feet go (underneath the rubber matting) got damaged when I used to go home for my day off (a three hour journey). The problem was I had a sore knee and would press it down to stretch it (like I would in a car) only I discovered that the parts holding the front plastic to the bike to the footing platform is made out of plastic with little black screws. Four of them were cracked or had broken off on the side where I had the sore knee.
Soooooo, when the whole left front side of my scooter was beginning to fall off, I gingerly took it a part and replaced the connections with zip ties and small drill holes. It is barely noticeable for the 3$ repair cost, of course I would like it to be
perfect but my estimate for the part replacements was a few hundred to more dollars so character wins this battle.
The Morrow of the Story is to quit your job if it is too hard on your knees, (which I did) and don't forget, if your a hurtin stop for a coffee and maybe a donut too.
