What am I missing here?

I went to reaffix a rear LED and low and behold something happened to the backend.

I just purchased the rear cover, but I have no clue what that light goes to or what else would be missing? Is that light for the license plate? What all missing?

Help! I'm pretty ticked at whoever did this.

Picture is a bit small to see real well, but it looks like a license plate light to me. A 194 type bulb at the location you would expect it. Not near mine to see what is missing, but they do make lighted plate holders you could use wiring for or replace the missing part.

Heres a better photo, I still have no clue how this happened.

Found on eBay the rear cover (the part broke in half in the photo) and the rear tail light assembly which contains the housing for the LP bulb (hanging down), just got to track down that bulb in the parts guide - I think its a 12v5w wedge bulb, will pull the broken one to verify.

Yes, definately the license plate light.
