Went for a test ride today!!!

I am looking for used SW and today I went to try one ...It was 2005 model with 12500 km but in has been droped and right side was scrched up....Ride was short but long enough to be impressed with power of SW...I owned KLR 650 but this scooter has balls no doubt about it....He had some aftermarket windshild installed which made a lot vibrating noise but I did not care...It's not the bike I am buying but defenatly another Silverwing....Seat was super comfortable which is very important to me..I am 6'3" and I was scared that might be little to smal for me but again proved my self wrong...

It's a great bike for sure and I can't wait to get mine...

I too owned a KLR and traded for my Silver Wing. Smartest decision I made. Great scooter. Find the right one and you will be happy for a long time! Also be advised most people report better fuel mileage with 2008 and newer models!

I went from a Gold Wing to a Silverwing and couldn't be happier. ( The VTX in the middle was just for show ). Great maxi scooter.
