Must b a sk8r boy Laughing. Sorry had to throw that in.
Changing the hoses depends on how the bike has been stored and the miles accumulated. If its been well taken care of and stored inside out of the heat and elements and if they look and feel relatively firm, no soft spots, you should be ok. However there are guys here who insist on changing everything pointlessly, i.e. Changing the air in the tires so as not to damage the rubber with old air LaughingLaughingLaughing

Haha excellent! I think the manual says "check hoses and replace IF necessary". Years ago we replaced radiator/ heater hoses every couple of years. Now I can't remember the last time I have replaced one. Hoses must be that much better. Last year I drained/flushed my 2005 Goldwing; hoses seemed fine so I did not replace them.

I agree with Hotwings assessment.  I actually had a hose failure on a previous scooter. It was the small crossover hose under the filter. A small nick on top of the hose caused it to leak when it heated up under pressure. All I could figure was that it had been nicked during routine maintenance. Easy to fix, but hard to find.

Maybe Jeff's question will cause others to check their cooling system and prevent a problem.   THX Jeff.  ( I feel younger already)  Now if I can remember how to get to McDonalds. scratch
