I just bought my 2004 Honda Silverwing and am busy riding it and looking at mods. I purchased a Bilt Bluetooth Helmet that is coming today with Bilt gloves from Cycle Gear. I also bought mirror extenders and the parts to make a switched electric panel that turns off with the key. I already have a battery tender so that should work fine for winter. I will update you more when I get more things.

Welcome and congrats. Do you plan on buying a new windshield or did it come with one you like? There is lots of info here on windshields and many other mods. Just ask away before you buy since you may find out the mod may not do what you want.

I have Sena Bluetooth units in three helmets. Great working. I use them for intercom with my wife when she's on the pillion. I loan one out to a friend and we use it in lieu of CB when we ride together. The thing works for about a half mile in line of sight and is much clearer than the CB on my GW. The Bluetooth also links to my phone as well as my GPS and CB when I have it on the scooter. Not to mention it also works with the music stored on my phone. I have better connectivity now on the scooter than I ever did on my Goldwing. These units are cheaper than a CB and are easy to install in any helmet.

I've been running a Viper crash helmet with built in bluetooth, ok up to about 55 60 listening to music and taking a call to about 50 unless its my wife calling from her car and she never gets close enough to microphone ! On my 750 virago with straight through pipes the speed has to drop as there is too much noise !

The Senas were working well between scooters for us up to about 75mph on the freeway last week. Much easier to understand than the CB on my previous GW at speed. Not to mention how nice it is to get rid of the helmet cord.
