My GL 1500 required the removal of the thin rubber O ring, when I tried to install the HA-6002 FILTER IT LOOKS LIKE IT'S NOT SEATING CORRECTLY.the forward section does not appear to seat correctly when I tighten the single mounting screw, what's this newbie missing? TIA Al

The K&N for the SWing doesn't fit perfectly. Just tighten the screw and you will be ok.

Ahh the disadvantage of not being observant I C now the case itself has dowels that push against the filter pushing it into position against the o ring providing seal pressure, ach
