| For those who have a tail bag (not a top box) on their SWing, can you let me/us know what brand and model you have? I'd really like to get one to add easy storage and prefer not to have a top box or saddle bags.
Thx |

| I've just bought a 'tube' from Bikers Friend. It's good quality - it should be at that price - and will do the trick when I've finally worked out how to strap it down so it won't move.
I have the XL:

| Real World---bag needs to be 100% waterproof----I have/use Ortlieb large from Aerostich. Life span is 10-20 years in hard use.
Use 2 cords to keep on.Mine goes on passenger seat but smaller one could work on rear "spoiler" |

| My 2¢: I've used a Motofizz seat bag from Aerostich for about 10 years. It's a great bag with plenty of room and flexibility both in packing as well as mounting. Beside the current price the downside is that it is not totally water proof. But it works for me. http://www.aerostich.com/medium-motofizz-camping-seat-bag.html

| Did you receive my PM? It's possible I pressed the wrong button after I'd written it. |

| Just uploaded 5 pictures - Page 2 of my album.
I think they're reasonably self-explanatory. The bag just extends over the grab-rails but is above them so it's not a problem. I did use the two webbing straps (black) supplied with the bag to pull the blue and yellow straps closer together so they couldn't slip off the ends of the bags - they can't anyway because of the lids.
I'm happy to answer questions about my setup. |

| The major feature of the Bikers Friend bag is that it's rigid so is a backrest as well.
The Shad isn't. |

| Only if you place it on passengers seat. For the tail requires something like a sissy bar as I can see.Nice bag though !Anyway, if the main factor is carrying ,my shad is very very functional |

| Understood and of course you're right but the high price reflects the added feature....and it's a very well-made, waterproof bag. |

| Thanks all. MIkeO - the pics helped a lot. I see you've not included the attachable back rest. Found it uncomfortable?? |

| Pleasure! I left off the back-rest as I thought the pictures would be clearer without. The bag was more-or-less just resting in place with the straps done up but not tight so you could see how they looked. |
