Greeting from State College, PA

I recently bought my first Silver Wing, a candy red 2009.   With Givi top case.    I previously had a Vespa and a couple of Burgmans.   To say I'm please with the SW is an understatement.

I don't know how unique this is, but wife encourages me to ride.   I retired last year, so it probably keeps me out of her hair.  And she won't go anywhere near a bike.

My knowledge of Silver Wings is minimal, so I'll be doing a lot of 'listening' here.   Thanks.

Welcome! Left Penn State in the early 70s - sure do miss that place. I too got my SWing after I retired.

When I got my blue SWing, my husband said it was perfect for a Penn State grad! Like your wife, he is not a rider - never has, probably never will. But he's way cool with me riding - I think he just likes me (A LOT) better after I've had some "riding therapy".

I have had my scooter for over 4 years now, and still love it! Of course, I knew red was the fastest color, but blue was the coolest, for down here in the southern heat.
