Has anyone seen or come up with a seat cover to keep your seat cool while parked in the sun? It could be made out of a reflective material like the use for car windshields.

Or these:

I don't know how these would fit on the SilverWing and I'm not a big fan of the name....

There are many more. Use the following string for your search: "Motorcycle seat sun shade"

I use a mylar emergency blanket and some clothes pegs strategically placed.

Worked a treat in the 30º+ heat in Spain in June.

I also use one to cover the MX5 when the roof is down, only difference with the MX5 is that I use earth magnets to hold it in place.

Cheers,

A reflective automotive sun shade is exactly what I use.I paid less than $10.00 and was able to make two of them. You can cut it in half, sew some elastic material on and it fasten under seat.Works great.

I rode with a sheep skin on my Goldwings for years; First saw riders using them on my 1st trip to Sturgis, S.D.. Just laid one on my Sling after reading these post. It fits. Smile  harley

I used to take a golf towel and tuck it under the butt-rest. It was dark and it got hot, but I'd pull if off and toss it under the seat and ride off.
